Sunday Crepes

Downtown in Cincinnati there’s this restaurant called It’s Just Crepes. Decorated with IKEA furniture, and offering an assortment of crepes, it’s completely awesome. The menu is divided into two sections: savory and sweet, so, that makes it easy.

I have decided that I will try each and every crepe (not including the featured crepe that changed every month). I shall  try a new one every Sunday after church (it’s withing walking distance, yippie!), and blog about it! I am a person who favors savory instead of sweet, so I will start with those.

Watch out! 38 different crepes in one pitiful little blog.

Blog Back Up/New Design

After neglecting my blog, making it die, and other such things, I have decided to use if more ofter, especially this summer.

Also, I find this theme for my blog completely spiffy, though, you may not know whats going on if you’re new to the whole “blog” thing.

Explanation:

  • Header: “dagnymcewen.com/blog” click that, to go back to what you see when you first get here.
  • The white (or gray) words titles in the middle: blog entries, click them to read.
  • Sidebar:
  1. Pages: I don’t make pages, so don’t worry.
  2. Categories: Entries fit into certain categories. i.e. Entries dealing with food/restaurants and such will go in the food category.
  3. Archives: Entries archived by month/year.
  4. Links: Kinda self explanatory.
  5. Customise: Hey look! You can change the colour of the blog. How cool is that?
  6. Recent Post: Also kinda self explanatory.

    Docentitos

This summer, I got accepted to be a docentito at the Weston Art Gallery in Cincinnati. The docentitos is where people my age, and a bit younger get to learn about the artist and art exhibit, and then get to be tour guides sort of thing. I’m excited. I’ve been to the Weston a few times to see exibits, and I think its going to be a really fun thing to do this summer.
